Assurance & related services

Our firm provides auditing, independent review assurance services and other special-purpose audits. Our independence and objectivity remain key when providing these services. Our close partner interaction with our clients builds long-lasting relationships due to our in debt understanding of our client's business challenges and opportunities.

We also assist our clients in complying with the relevant International Financial Reporting Standards in our compilation services of owner-managed businesses, which does not require performing assurance services.

Taxation

Our firm provides income tax compliance services to individuals and companies. We assist with calculating and submitting tax returns, assisting with SARS queries and providing tax-efficient solutions following the Income Tax Act. We also help clients with submissions of employee tax and VAT returns and interim and final reconciliations where required.

Accounting & related services

Our firm provides monthly accounting services through our cloud-based solutions (Xero or Sage One) to smaller entities that do not require the employment of a full-time bookkeeper. Payroll related services are also provided to our clients through our cost-effective cloud-based solutions and can integrate into the accounting solutions. Our solutions provide a paperless environment for our clients and help our clients to make decisions based on current financial information available.

Other services

Experience staff assists with financial planning and estate services. The aim is to understand our clients' needs and perform these services with the urgency it deserves.

Continuity

We have endeavoured over the years to ensure that our staff are well trained and work in a happy environment.  This helps with continuity between the client and ourselves. The result is we have minimal staff turnover, which in turn benefits the client.  Clients are welcome to speak to the other partners if their normal servicing partner is unavailable.

Fees

As a relatively flat-structured organisation, we are not constrained by the bureaucracy of many of our competitors. Neither are we pressurised to meet massive financial overheads. Instead, we pride ourselves on our commitment to responding immediately to clients’ needs and going the extra mile to deliver quality services at highly competitive rates. As with all firms, fees are based on hours worked. 

In drawing up our fees and budgets the time elements and costs per hour are always open to scrutiny.  The fees and time are discussed timeously with management both before and during the audit to ensure you are kept fully informed as to costs.
